Sparkling sisters!

The girls took fashion to a whole new level this morning! Who needs princess dresses when you can just add some wrapping paper to your dress for school???

Easter Eggs

We spent Sunday afternoon decorating eggs for Easter. The girls painted and dyed eggs! They had such a great time!

Lizzie's outfit for Lowe's!

There are no words to do this justice!

Little Paula

My sister is slightly obsessive about her bed! It is perfectly made without any wrinkles every morning, unless Andy forgets. My point of view has always been why make it up so nicely if you're going to get right back in that night???
Tonight we rearranged the girl's furniture in their bedrooms. They were SO excited! We angled Anna Claire's bed so neither side is touching a wall. When I got in the bed to sing songs with her tonight she asked if I would get out because I was putting wrinkles in her bed. Little Paula!!!

so embarrassing

Today we had a couple of people come to give us estimates for cutting down some trees in our yard.  One of the men sat in his truck to write out the estimate. While I was finishing up using the bathroom he knocked on the door and Lizzie opened the door. I walked around the corner in time to hear her say, "Mommy's in the potty but she'll be done soon." Hysterical!!!

socks

How can I make Lizzie understand that if she wears all her favorite panties and favorite socks on the day after I do laundry she will not have any favorite ones until I do laundry again??? Any suggestions??? I have even resorted to removing all socks, except the dreaded white ones, from her drawer.
I will thank God again that He has clearly given us plenty of things to focus on with Lizzie as she gets older. Advanced warnings always help. I am sure we will see this played out with money when she has some!

clown pictures

Today was picture day at school. On the way home Anna Claire said, "Mommy, they made our picture in a clown costume too." I started laughing because she meant gown. The 4 year olds had their picture made in a cap and gown. So funny!
I asked Lizzie if she smiled for her picture and she said, "No, Mommy! I didn't smile for that girl!" Not surprising since a photographer has NEVER been able to win her affection. One year she cried so much that they didn't even bother to take her picture.
