Lizzie is so funny to me! Today she told me she wanted me to turn into a little girl this spring. So I asked her who would be the mommy if I was a little girl. She said, "Daddy can turn into a mommy this spring!"
Apparently big changes are coming for our family in the spring!

A Valentine Movie

Hope everyone has a great Valentine's Day! I bought the girls shirts that say "Daddy's Sweetheart" but as you can tell Lizzie was not feeling very sweet or happy to be in these photos!

Soccer Fun

Last weekend Russ played in an alumni soccer game for his high school. The girls had so much fun cheering on their daddy. Anna Claire even made up her own cheer:

Tonight, after we had put the girls in bed Anna Claire got up and needed to use the bathroom. Unfortunately for her Russ had just sat down on our toilet. She knocked on the door and yelled, "Daddy, I have to use the bathroom!" He said, "Go use your potty." "I want to use yours" was her reply. So she laid down outside the door and waited. The same conversation was repeated about 2 more times with breaks of her laying down waiting in between. Finally she said, "Daddy, this is taking forever! I'm not going to get back to bed before it's morning!"
Russ and I had a great laugh over this!

hair dressers

My girls have lots of hair - especially Lizzie! I use to be able to keep her hair out of her face by using a little barrette but those days are long gone! Anna Claire's hair is not as thick as Lizzie's so I keep barrettes around for her hair. Actually, when I took them for haircuts a couple of weeks ago Val said Lizzie has a cow-lick that makes her hair fall in her face and that she had lots more hair than other 3 year olds.

Back to the point - Lizzie desperately wants to wear the beautiful, fancy barrettes she got from Magee at Christmas that have princesses on them. They just don't keep her hair out of her face. Well, tonight she and Anna Claire went into the bathroom and came out with new hair-dos. Anna Claire had 7 barrettes and Lizzie had 5! So stylish...

Redecorating

Yesterday, Lizzie redecorated our refrigerator with beautiful drawings! She asked for them to be put on the computer so Magee and Pabo could see!
